Sunday Stamps II 152

This week SeeitonaPostcard is up to the letter "O" in the tour of the alphabet.

Back in my Postcrossing days, I was very active and hoped to get postcards from lots of different countries.  I was excited to receive a card from the Sultanate of Oman - only 168 cards sent from Oman at that time, and one of them to me!  Here are the stamps from that postcard:

Showing a traditional dagger and scabbard from that country.  Cool!

Sunday Stamps # 150 "M"

Good morning, and welcome to my contribution to Sunday Stamps.  It is fall and turning colder in the American Midwest.
SeeitonaPostcard is up to the letter "M" in the trip around the alphabet.  I had just the stamp, but left it in my office on Friday.  therefore I am using a scan from Mystic Stamp Company of a Mimbres bowl:

This is one stamp in a series of stamps highlighting Native American arts and crafts.  The Acoma bowl I showed at the beginning of this tour through the alphabet is also from this series.

Janis Joplin lived from 1943 to 1970, dying of a drug overdose in October of 1970.  She electrified audiences wherever she performed.

When I was younger I did not appreciate her singing but I do now.
